Cookie Policy

Data Controller

This Cookies Policy applies to the websites malaga.madridartesdigitales.com and ticketsmalaga.madridartesdigitales.com. The other subdomains of madridartesdigitales.com have their own cookies policies.

Both websites are owned and managed by MADRID ARTES DIGITALES, S.L. (“MAD”), Tax Identification Number (CIF) B13964416, with registered office at C/ San Quintín 10, Bajo izquierda, 28013, Madrid, Spain, which acts as the data controller for the data obtained through the cookies on these websites.

Ticket sales are handled via ticketsmalaga.madridartesdigitales.com, a subdomain of MAD operated using technology from VivaTicket, a ticketing platform that acts as a data processor on behalf of MAD. Although the cookies installed there are technically first-party cookies, as they are downloaded from a MAD domain, some of them are set by that provider; these are identified as such in the table below.

The immersive exhibition takes place at the SOHRLIN venue, managed by LABORATORIO DE CREACIÓN ARTÍSTICA, S.L.U., Tax Identification Number B-10.875.946, a company independent of MAD. Only when analytics or advertising cookies are used for joint promotional campaigns for the exhibition will both entities act as joint controllers in accordance with Article 26 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”). SOHRLIN does not set cookies via this website for its own purposes.

In accordance with Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services (“LSSI-CE”), we are making our Cookie Policy available to users of our website and informing them of its contents.

What is a cookie?

Cookies are files containing small amounts of information that are downloaded to the user’s device when they visit our website. The main purpose of cookies is to recognise the user each time they access the website, thereby improving its quality and usability (using identifiers that do not allow the user to be identified as a specific individual). Cookies are essential for the functioning of the internet and websites. They cannot damage the user’s computer or device and, if enabled in their browser settings, they help us to identify and resolve any potential malfunctions on our website.

What types of cookies does this website use?

Our website uses first-party and third-party cookies.

First-party cookies: these are sent from a computer or domain managed by the Data Controller and from which the service requested by the user is provided.

Third-party cookies: these are sent from a computer or domain that is not managed by the Data Controller, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.

In turn, cookies can be classified into types, depending on their function or purpose (categories).

Depending on their function, there are various types of cookies, such as:

  • Technical or necessary cookies: these are essential for our website to function correctly and include basic features such as identifying the session or granting registered users access to restricted areas. For these reasons, technical cookies cannot be disabled.
  • Preference or personalisation cookies: these allow information to be remembered so that the user can access the service with specific features that personalise their experience compared to other users. For example, they may remember the user’s preferred language.
  • Analytics or measurement cookies: these allow the data controller to track and analyse user behaviour on websites. The information collected via these cookies is used to measure website activity, with the aim of making improvements based on the analysis of data regarding how users interact with the service.
  • Advertising or marketing cookies: these enable the management of advertising spaces and the display of adverts based on the user’s browsing profile, whilst also measuring the performance of advertising campaigns.

Furthermore, cookies can be categorised according to the length of time they remain active:

  • Session cookies: these are designed to collect and store data whilst the user is accessing the website and whilst the requested service is being provided; they are deleted at the end of the session.

  • Persistent cookies: these are cookies in which the data remains stored on the device and can be accessed for a period defined by the party responsible for the cookie.

    List of cookies used

Below, we provide users with detailed information about the first-party and third-party cookies that may be installed via our website, together with a brief description, the period for which they remain on your device, and an indication of the party responsible for the cookie where it originates from a third party:
